Coast of the Isle of Skye (United Kingdom) online puzzle
Skye is the second largest island in Scotland, located on the west coast of the country. Its original name is An t-Eilean Sgitheanach, but it is also sometimes called the island of mists. Although Skye is only 80 km long, its landscape is very diverse – the south of the island is green and lowland, while the north is dominated by high rocky mountains. The area is famous for its castles built here by the clans formerly fighting against each other. Today most of them are in ruins, however, Dunvegan Castle located in the north is still a family residence, though some of its chambers are open to the public.
