Ko Phi Phi Don is the largest of the Phi Phi islands belonging to Thailand. The archipelago lies on the south-western coast of the country, it consists of six islands that make up the national park. The islands are extremely popular among tourists seeking a holiday on the white sandy beaches and paradise views of tropical nature. Unfortunately, the constant flood of tourists threatens the unique nature of the archipelago - despite protecting this area the islands are threatened by ecological collapse caused by the intense exploitation by tourists.
