Kapellbrücke in Lucerne (Switzerland) online puzzle
Kapellbrücke is a covered wooden bridge that is one of the most important monuments of the Swiss city of Lucerne. This 204-meter bridge was built in 1333 and it connects the two banks of the river Reuss. There are over a hundred triangular images depicting the most important moments in the history of the city placed on the rafters. Hans Heinrich and his sons were the author of the paintings. At the southern tip of the Kapellbrücke there is an octagonal water tower, the Wasserturm, where the torture chamber used to be housed. It is currently the most photographed building in Lucerne.
