Gdańsk Crane on the river Motława (Poland) online puzzle
One of the landmarks of Gdańsk is a historic port crane with a distinctive shape towering over the Motława river flowing through the Main City. Gdańsk crane was built in 1444 and it is the oldest preserved structure of this kind in Europe. Today the inside of the crane hosts a branch of the Museum of Gdańsk. In the immediate vicinity of the crane, which used to be the gate of the city in the past, there are characteristic narrow tenement houses with pastel facades and a promenade with a big number of stalls with souvenirs.
