Old street in Peratallada (Spain) online puzzle
Peratallada is a town located in the north-east of Spain, in Catalonia. Its name is derived from the phrase "pedra tallada", which means "chipped rock". The creation of this interesting name is associated with a way of building homes in Peratallada. Most of the town’s buildings were of the stones chipped from the moat that surrounds the town today. Among the most important monuments of the town there are a medieval castle, church and fortifications. However, it is worth remembering that the entire old town is a pearl of Gothic architecture. Stone houses and narrow cobbled streets make it possible to feel the atmosphere of ancient time and the proximity of the Costa Brava makes the place even more attractive.
