Montenegro is a small country located on the Balkan Peninsula. The mountainous landscape dominates here, it mainly consists of part of the Dinaric Alps. The highest Montenegrin peak – Zla Kolata – is located 2534 meters above sea level. Inhabitants of Montenegro cultivate figs, olives, citrus and grapevine. Tourism is also thriving here. The most beautiful places in the country include the Bay of Kotor on the Adriatic Sea, Our Lady of the Rocks and the area of Lake Skadar.
