Bird’s eye view of Kotor (Montenegro) online puzzle

Kotor is considered the most interesting town in Montenegro. It is surrounded on three sides by Dobrota mountain massif and due to its location at the end of the Bay of Kotor the town was impregnable for centuries. Thanks to maritime trade Kotor developed very well and was one of the richest towns in the region. However, the growth of the local fleet was stopped and it put an end to the times of prosperity, but not for long – today Kotor derives its income from tourism, and as the best-preserved medieval town in south-eastern Europe it is visited by a lot of tourists. The entire old town has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979.
