Lake Skadar (Montenegro) online puzzle

Lake Skadar is the largest natural lake in the Balkan Peninsula. It is located among the green hills on the border of Albania and Montenegro. The locals refer to the lake as a swamp (Skadarsko Blato), due to the fact it is a valley flooded by karst rivers. What is more, the area of the lake changes in accordance with the season of the year, in spring there are a lot of pools, which are more similar to swamps than to the lake. There are a few islands on the lake, which are created from the tops of flooded hills. On some of the islands visitors may admire the remnants of the 15th-century monasteries.
