The river Ljubljanica in Ljubljana (Slovenia) online puzzle
The Ljubljanica river that flows through Slovenia is one of the tributaries of the Sava river. It is certainly not the largest river, it is merely 41 kilometers long, but it is the most scenic. Almost half of its length flows through underground caves and much of it winds through the capital, Ljubljana. Along the river there is a beautiful walking boulevard that is popular with locals and tourists. Walking along the boulevard tourists can admire the most interesting of the local bridges, including the Triple Bridge that was built in three different historical periods and thus designed in three different architectural styles. There is also the Dragon Bridge, according to legend, the dragons from the bridge wag their tails when a virgin crosses it.
