Świętokrzyski Bridge in Warsaw (Poland) online puzzle
Warsaw is the capital of Poland and the largest city in the country. The city lies on the Vistula River and its banks are spanned by as many as eight bridges. The first cable-stayed bridge in the capital called the Świętokrzyski Bridge (English: Holy Cross Bridge) is particularly noteworthy. The bridge was opened in 2000 and it links the city center with the district of Praga-North. The bridge is 479 meters long (including the viaduct), whereas its width exceeds 30 meters. The 90-meter pylon located on the right bank of the river that fastens the cables supporting the structure is a characteristic feature of the bridge.
