The center of Warsaw (Poland) online puzzle
The Stalinist Palace of Culture and Science was erected in the 1950s and it has become one of the symbols of Warsaw. The edifice is still very controversial for some Poles as it is considered a shameful remembrance of the previous system. What is more, the public space arrangement in the immediate vicinity of the 237-meter Palace was not approved by all the inhabitants of the capital. Today the northern part of Warsaw City is dominated by skyscrapers, among which the highest buildings are Złota 44, Rondo 1 and the Warsaw Financial Center. The architectural style of these skyscrapers does not necessarily suit the form of the Palace of Culture and Science.
