The town of Schiltach in the Black Forest (Germany) online puzzle
Schiltach is a small town in south-eastern Germany. The town's origins date back to the 11th century, when the church had been built here for the peasants from the surrounding villages, nevertheless the settlement itself was built here approximately two centuries later. The medieval buildings of the town survived the turmoil of the times and it attracts many tourists to the town, seeking peace and idyllic landscapes. The whole area of the old town is legally protected and the town itself lies on the national trail of timber framing architecture that extends from the north to the south across the whole country and is one of the most popular tourist trails in Germany.
