Český Krumlov on the Vltava River (Czech Republic) online puzzle
The medieval town of Český Krumlov lies on the Vltava River in the south of the Czech Republic. The river picturesquely winds around the town that grew in the neighborhood of the 13th-century castle built on a rock. The name of the town is derived from the old German words meaning "slanted meadow", which probably refer to the specific location of the town. There are numerous historic buildings, many of which come from the Renaissance epoch. Tourists travelling to Český Krumlov can visit the museum of dolls and puppets, the local brewery, graphite mine and hundred-year-old Seidl photographic studio.
