Tallinn is the largest city and the capital of Estonia. It has a charming old town, surrounded by medieval city walls. These include the Cathedral of Saint Mary the Virgin, with its characteristic Baroque dome, and the Russian Orthodox Alexander Nevsky Cathedral built in the Byzantine-Russian style. The city also boasts its late-Gothic town hall with an octagonal, 64-meter tower.
