Florence, which located in the northern part of Italy, is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Tourists visiting the city can enjoy priceless monuments of the Italian Renaissance, among which magnificent Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and Basilica of Santa Croce stand out. The former is a true landmark of the city. Its huge dome, which was an architectural challenge for the builders, and a richly decorated facade from the 19th century, leave a lasting impression on tourists. The cathedral dominates the city as it was built as the largest temple of its time. The Basilica of Santa Croce is a bit more modest. It was enriched with the façade in the 19th century, nevertheless, it was decided not to create the whole façade.
