Street in Assisi (Italy) online puzzle
Assisi is an Italian town located in the province of Perugia in the Umbria region. In the ancient times the areas where the town is located used to be inhabited by the Etruscans, then there was the Roman settlement. Assisi is commonly associated with St. Francis and St. Clare, and most of the historic buildings situated in the center of the town are churches: Basilica of San Francesco d'Assisi, Basilica of Santa Chiara and Cathedral of San Rufino. The town is full of steep but charming streets and buildings built of stone. Narrow backstreets of Assisi are decorated by planters with blood-red geranium and herbs, which nicely contrast with beige, grey and pink walls of tenement houses.
