Mosque on the Island of Malacca (Malaysia) online puzzle
The modern, beautifully illuminated Masjid Selat Melaka mosque is situated on the man-made Malacca Island in the state of Malacca. Snow-white walls of the building contrast nicely with a massive golden-navy blue dome. The temple is placed on a special platform and due to that it seems that it flows of the surface of water if the water level is high. The opening ceremony was organized in 2006. The architecture of the mosque perfectly combines traditional forms with a modern, slightly futuristic style.
