Belukha Mountain is the highest peak of the Altai Mountains and at the same time the highest peak of Siberia. It is over 4.500 m high. Belukha Mountain is located in the range of Katun Mountains, on the border of Kazakhstan and Russia. The mountain has two tops – higher (eastern) and lower (western). The highest parts of the Belukha Mountain are located over the border of perpetual snows. On its slopes beautiful glaciers dominate. The neighborhood of the Belukha Mountain, due to the beauty of landscapes, are often visited by tourists.
