Lake Eibsee and Zugspitze (Germany) online puzzle

Lake Eibsee is located in Upper Bavaria. The lake owes its name to yew trees that densely overgrew the area in the past. The depth of the lake reaches 35 meters and in its northern part there are several islands. It is one of the most beautiful and cleanest lakes in Bavaria and there is a walking trail along its shores. Lake Eibsee lies at the foot of the German highest mountain in the Bavarian Alps, it is situated near the border with Austria. Zugspitze mountain rises 2,962 meters above sea level. The lake is located just 9 kilometers from Garmisch-Partenkirchen – the popular health resort and water sports center.
