Fjord on the Lofoten Islands (Norway) online puzzle
Lofoten is an archipelago located in the Norwegian Sea on the northern coast of Norway. It consists of many tiny islands with a rugged coastline, some of which are highly uplifted and look like large rocks thrown into the sea, others are much flatter. The latter were inhabited as early as 6000 years ago, as there was the abundance of wild game and fish. Agriculture appeared on the islands over time, although fishery always played a leading role in the local economy. Currently, tourism has become even more important as the islands offer many attractions, such as sightseeing and fishing cruises or trekking on the surrounding hills. The islands are connected by a road that runs on causeways and columns, thanks to that the communication between them is very easy.
