River Pastaza (Ecuador) online puzzle
The Pastaza is a large river in South America, a tributary of the river Marañón. The Pastaza river flows through Ecuador and Peru. There are not too many bridges on the river and its meandering bed is surrounded by virgin nature of the Amazon forest and the majestic Andean peaks. For that reason the other side of the river can be reached by a boat, tarabita, i.e. a traditional cable car, or in a special harness. The river is also a paradise for lovers of water and extreme sports – canoeing and rafting, rope jumping and climbing the waterfalls.
