Foggy sunrise over the Narew River (Poland) online puzzle
The 484-kilometer Narew River has its source in Belarus, in the Białowieża Forest. The Narew is a right tributary of the Vistula River. Part of the river, between the town of Suraż and village of Rzędziany, is located in the area of the Narew National Park that was created in 1996. Picturesque backwaters of the river are often referred to as the "Polish Amazonia". Untouched nature in the Valley of Narew can be admired from a kayak. Tourists may also cross the shallow waters of the Narew on board of a traditional flat-bottomed boat, the so-called “pychówka”. The Narew flows through such towns as Suraż, Łomża, Ostrołęka and Pułtusk.
