Mazovian landscape with the Narew River (Poland) online puzzle
The Narew is a lowland river that flows in braided riverbeds, creating vast marshland and peat bog. Despite the fact that the river has its source in the Belarusian Wild Swamps, it flows mainly through the north-east of Poland. Approximately 160 km of the river are located in the region of Mazovia. The Narew flows into the Vistula River in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. The riverside areas are rich in forests and meadows that are full of wild birds. The section of the Narew between Zegrze Lake and the town of Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki is a place of many fisheries. Anglers may count on a good catch of bream, roach, pikeperch and pike.
