Mountain landscape with Lake Lago di Luzzone (Switzerland) online puzzle
Lago di Luzzone is a lake located in the valley of Blenio in the Swiss Alps. The lake is surrounded by high, over 3000-meter peaks, making it one of the most scenic places in the south-east of Switzerland. The reservoir was created due to the completion of the great Luzzone dam, which is known primarily as the world's largest artificial climbing wall. One of the German manufacturers of training brackets installed over 650 artificial brackets and screws on the outside wall of the dam. They make climbing possible up to the height of 165 meters. The wall is intended only for professional climbers and for that reason the lowest brackets have been placed a few meters above the ground to prevent accidental tourists from climbing onto the dam as it could cause some accidents.
