St. Paul's Cathedral in London (United Kingdom) online puzzle
St. Paul's Cathedral is the best known Anglican church in Great Britain. The fist cathedral was built on the ruins of a Roman temple, however, it burnt down during a great fire that devastated London in 1666. A new edifice - in the style of classicistic Baroque - was built at the beginning of 18th century. The most characteristic element of the cathedral, and at the same time of the London panorama, is the copula of a 50-meter diameter that crowns the building. In the majestic cathedral, considered to be the symbol of London’s rebirth, were funerals of admiral Nelson and Winston Churchill as well as the wedding of Prince Charles Windsor with Lady Diana Spencer.
