Cesky Krumlov on the Vltava river (Czech Republic) online puzzle
Cesky Krumlov is located in the south of the Czech Republic, on the picturesquely meandering Vltava River and is the winner of many travel industry awards, including the Golden Apple, called a tourist Oscar award. The town flourished from the 14th to 17th centuries, when it had a truly international nature. The German, Italian, Austrian and Czech influences were interwoven in the town, which was reflected in the characteristic architecture of the town. During this period the local castle was also built, which is the second largest palace complex in the Czech Republic. Apart from visiting its priceless old town, Cesky Krumlov offers visitors the opportunity to make use of a wide range of cultural events, whereas more adventurous people will appreciate white water rafting on the Vltava river.
