Aiguines is a French village located in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur at the foot of Le Grand Margès. Visitors to the village may admire the seventeenth-century Château d'Aiguines – the castle with distinctive corner towers, the roofs of which are covered with colorful tiles. In Aiguines it is also worth visiting the historic chapel of St. Peter and the church of St. John and Virgin Mary. Aiguines is located on a hill overlooking the nearby reservoir of Lac de Sainte-Croix, which has a beautiful turquoise color.
