Roman bridge in Grins (Austria) online puzzle
Grins is an Austrian commune in Tyrol located at the confluence of the Trisanna and Rosanna rivers. The mild climate was the reason for which prehistoric settlements appeared on the sunny plateau at the foot of the Alps. Today the area is popular with enthusiasts of skiing, hiking and cycling. Among the landmarks of Grins there is a frequently photographed stone bridge known as Roman. Nevertheless, it comes from the 16th century and probably owes its nickname to the Roman way, which formerly ran in this place.
