Oslo is the capital of Norway. The city was founded in 1048 by king Harald III. Today Oslo is a great economic center of the country, the seat of government and one of the most expensive city in the world. The sea transport, trade and banking are rapidly growing here. The center of Oslo is still extended and today the Barcode Project is one of the largest investments in Europe. The Project includes the building of new modern skyscrapers, underground tunnels as well as conversion of the areas near the opera. Oslo has very efficient communication – apart from air and sea ports, you can travel there by subway, ferry, railway, tram and bus lines. Visitors also have three ring roads at their disposal.
