Los Angeles is a big city located in the state of California, it is the second – after New York – most populous city of the USA. It is also one of the richest cities in the world, as it is the center of a large agglomeration as well as an important financial, industrial, educational, cultural and entertainment center. L.A. is known for its warm climate, fabulous beaches on the Pacific coast and the Hollywood district, the cradle of American cinema. The city has a large cluster of skyscrapers, most of which are located in the city center. The 310-meter US Bank Tower, with its distinctive top that resembles a crown, is the highest building in Los Angeles.
