Calp is a resort town located in eastern Spain on the Mediterranean coast. The town makes its living primarily from tourism and most of its inhabitants are foreigners. Calp is picturesquely situated on the bay between the limestone mountains. There are mainly tower blocks from the 1970s, in which there are hotels and holiday resorts. The most interesting sights of the town include the royal baths and an old mill. However, tourists choose Calp because of the warm Mediterranean climate, a large sandy beach and the hills surrounding the town – the hills can be easily reached in order to admire the landscape.
