Canal in the center of Bruges (Belgium) online puzzle
Bruges is the capital of the Belgian province of Western Flanders, which is situated in the northwestern part of the country. The city is famous for omnipresent canals that used to flow through the old town, connecting the inland port with the North Sea. Some of the canals are currently slimy, however, thanks to the canals the city has preserved its Hanseatic climate – there are old, stone houses and small bridges spanning the canals’ banks. Bruges is the city that offers a lot for tourists as they may visit historic churches as well as numerous museums: among them there are Choco-Story (Museum of Chocolate), Frietmuseum (Museum dedicated to Belgian fries) or Lace Center. In 2008 the film titled “In Bruges” starring Colin Farrell was shot in the city. The film features Bruges with its most beautiful historic buildings in their full glory.
