Peschiera del Garda is an Italian town on the southern shore of Lake Garda in the province of Verona (25 kilometers from the city of Verona). Thanks to the historic pile-dwellings the town is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There is the popular Camping Bella Italia near the town and for that reason the place is usually full of tourists. They frequently visit vineyards and local taverns as well as the surroundings of the lake where they can go for a row or observe boat races. Saint Martin is the town’s patron and residents of the town celebrate that fact every November, 11th. Visitors may admire a fireworks display then.
