Riksdag Building and North Bridge in Stockholm (Sweden) online puzzle
Helgeandsholmen is a small islet in Stockholm on which the building of the Swedish parliament called Riksdagshuset is located. The edifice that had been designed by Aron Johansson was put to use in 1905. The building has an impressive colonnade surrounding the Neo-Baroque frontage, which is decorated by the relief of the coat of arms situated over the door and the statue depicting Mother Svea (Swedish: Moder Svea). The neoclassical North Bridge called Norrbro is situated near the Riksdag. The stone construction had been designed by Erik Palmstedt and was being buit at the turn of 18th and 19th centuries. The Norrbro is situated over Norrström – a natural waterway between Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea.
