The 13-meter high Giraffe sculpture made of acid-resistant stainless steel was placed near the main avenue of Park Praski in 1981 as a gift from the Warsaw Zoo for children. <br />

The sculpture, which was to be an artistic creation in accordance with the surrounding nature, was made by the artist Władysław Frycza. <br />
