Dubai is famous all over the world for its modern buildings and impressive investments. The building boom that started here after 2005 was the result of the government’s decision concerning freeing the economy from the oil industry. Since that time Dubai has become one of the fastest growing cities, where not only impressive skyscrapers are built (including the famous Burj Khalifa, the highest building in the world), but also artificial islands and even entire districts constructed in the areas that used to belong to the sea. Thanks to large financial investments the city attracts the most important businessmen from IT and finance industries. What is more, Dubai has become an important tourist centre, which is attractive due to a hot climate, exotic culture and omnipresent luxury.
