House in Reine (Norway) online puzzle
Reine is a fishing village located on the Norwegian island of Moskenesøya in the Lofoten Archipelago. Housing in this part of Norway is very characteristic and is represented by small wooden houses, which are supported by wooden poles submerged in water. First houses of that kind were built in the 1120’s. “Rorbu” – i.e. a wooden cottage with a red roof used to be a seasonal house of out-of-town fishermen. At present it is a tourist attraction. Tourists may rent well-adjusted houses, situated just by the water, with moss and turf-grown roofs and enjoy extraordinary holiday.
