Yorkshire terrier is a breed of miniature companion dogs, originating from the English county of Yorkshire. Today they are popular couch dogs, however, in the nineteenth-century Great Britain were used to exterminate rodents in poor city districts. A unique Yorkshire breed - Yorkshire Terrier Biewer – was developed in the 1980s. The individuals are distinguished by a three-colored coat: white-black-gold or white-steel-gold. Dogs of this breed require careful care. The Yorkshire’s long coat should be regularly trimmed to prevent insects from getting incubated in it, overheating and infections of the eyes and ears.
