View from Vourkari towards Makronisos (Greece) online puzzle
Vourkari is a small port village located in the island of Kea in the Cyclades. The life of this fishing village, increasingly frequented by the tourists from Athens and other European capitals, pulsates around the waterfront. Residential houses in Vourkari are mostly built on the slopes of the hill, thanks to that while strolling through the narrow streets of the village you can admire the waters of the bay and the neighboring islands in the Aegean Sea, e.g. Makronisos. About a hundred years ago, HMHS Britannic steamship sank in the strait between Kea and Makronisos.
