Waipio Valley (USA) online puzzle
Waipio Valley is located on the island of Hawai'i, also known as the Big Island, in the Hawaiian Archipelago. According to the local legends, the place used to be inhabited by the Hawaiian monarchs, hence it is called the Valley of the Kings, or even the Sacred Valley. In the early 19th century the Chinese settled here, however, tsunamis and floods have been the reasons that today the valley is inhabited by only a few dozen people. Waipio is surrounded by green cliffs, whereas the valley itself is covered with lush, tropical vegetation – it offers visitors a breathtaking scenery of beautiful waterfalls and meandering streams.
