Facimiech Peak seen from Sokolica Peak (Poland) online puzzle
The Pieniny mountain range is located in the south of Poland. The so-called Pieniny Właściwe, with Facimiech Peak rising 668 meters above the sea level, is the part of the whole range. The slopes of the mountain are covered with dense forest, the river Dunajec flows at the foot of the rocks. Facimiech belongs to the massif of Three Crowns (Polish: Trzy Korony). You can admire it from the top of Sokolica Peak, which is an excellent vantage point on the Dunajec Gorge and vast areas of the Pieniny National Park. Sokolica rises 747 meters above the sea level and it is known for centuries-old, relict pines.
