Jack Russell terrier in sunglasses online puzzle
Jack Russell Terrier derives its name from the British pastor who worked on the creation of a small, tough hunting dog in the nineteenth century. The breeder’s name was John Russell, however, he was called Jack by his friends and his name was reflected in the name of the breed he created. The name was, however, officially recognized only in the 1990s, when the Parson Jack Russell Terriers were entered to the register of races. In 2000 the Jack Russell Terriers were separated and have been considered as a separate breed ever since. They are small dogs with short legs, white with red or brown patches, usually covered with short smooth hair, but there are also individuals with long coarse hair. Despite the fact that they were bred as hunting dogs, today they are mainly companion pets, which suits them perfectly because of their intelligence.
