Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy Lake (Poland) online puzzle
There are about twenty mountain lakes called Gąsienicowy Lake in the Gąsienicowa Valley, in the Polish High Tatras. The largest and deepest body of water in this group is Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy Lake. Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy is an oval glacial lake, distinguished by clear, sapphire water. Since the 1880s, the body of water has been restocked with trout. On its north-eastern end there is a small island that cover the area of 310 m2. The depth of the lake reaches up to 51 meters.
