Niue is a Polynesian coral island located in the Pacific Ocean. It is a country associated with New Zealand and it has its own capital - a town of Alofi, located in the western side of the island. Niue is famous for its unusual rock formations, grottos, caves, scenic basins, ravines and creeks, as well as natural pools. The biggest attraction of the island are the Talava Arches – the rock formations emerging from shallow and clean waters around the coast. There are a lot of coconut trees growing on Niue - this small state owes its name to these trees.
