Roses have been considered as the most beautiful flowers all over the world since the ancient times. Due to the fact that there are numerous species and ways of growing, they occur in many colors and sizes, the shapes of petals may differ too. We are used to attaching a certain meaning to flowers and thanks to that a person who receives them is able to understand our intentions correctly. Tea roses, i.e. those with amazingly yellow and orange coloring, can be bought for a person to whom we want to express our gratitude. In the language of those who are in love, tea roses express interest in a woman who receives them. Interfusion of bright and dark colors symbolizes a way from friendship to love, a shy by serious declaration of a growing feeling. In spite of appearances, tea roses do not owe their name solely to the color of their petals. In the past their smell resembled traditional Chinese tea. At present the name “tea rose” refers to all bright, sunny-colored roses, ranging from light yellow to dark orange – regardless their species or variety.
