Summer stop no. 18 - SZCZECIN online puzzle
The eastern wing from the side of the courtyard - relief plaque, erection cartouche from 1538. There are 9 coats of arms of the Pomeranian lands under
under the rule of Prince Barnim XI. The cartouche topped with a helmet with peacock feathers is held by the wild husbands.
On the right, a clock on the south wing, made in 1693 by master Kacper Ritarda from Drawsko. The lions at the top are Swedish and the lions at the bottom are Pomeranian griffins (they have wings). At the top, between the lions, there is a golden-navy blue ball that rotates to show the phase of the moon. Under this ball is a jester snapping his teeth and beating his right hand for quarters of an hour and his left hand for hours.
Even lower is a mascaron with an hour hand on the tip of his nose, rolling his eyes in clockwise direction and "shouting" the day.
The lower dial shows the quarter hour.
The dates on the clock are the dates of its renovation.
We were here on August 23, 12:50 pm and it was the first quarter of the moon.
