Krutitskoe Podvorye in Moscow (Russia) online puzzle
Krutitskoe Podvorye is a medieval sacral complex located on the banks of the river in the old district of Moscow. In the thirteenth century there was a monastery, a few hundred years later the complex of red brick buildings became the residence of bishops. At the turn of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries Krutitskoe Podvorye passed into the hands of the army, it was even planned to demolish some of the temple buildings. In the second half of the twentieth century, Krutitskoe Podvorye was restored under the direction of architect Piotr Baranovsky. In the complex there is, inter alia, the Temple of the Dormition, which consists of the church of Saints Peter and Paul from the 17th century and the Temple of the Dormition of the Mother of God put into use in 1700.
