Loket Castle (Czech Republic) online puzzle
Loket is located in the western part of the Czech Republic on the Ohře River. The name of the town means "elbow", referring most probably to the river bend on which the town is located. The origins of the fortress located here date back to the 12th century. Originally it served as a watchtower and a stronghold, over time, the castle was used as a prison. Since the 1990s, intensive work has been underway to restore both the fortress itself, the towers and town walls. The castle is also open to visitors.
