Ruins of the Roman theater in Malaga (Spain) online puzzle
Malaga is a Spanish city located in the Mediterranean region of Andalusia. The city is known for the Alcazaba fortification complex with the Castle of Gibralfaro. In 1951 the remnants of the Roman theater from the first century BC were discovered at the foot of the hill on which the fortress is located. Until the third century the theatre had served its original function, later the Moors used it as a quarry. The ruins of an ancient theater located in the center of Malaga are one of the oldest historic monuments of this type throughout Spain and a wonderful place for a romantic walk.
