Townhouses in Dresden (Germany) online puzzle
Dresden is the capital of Saxony located in the eastern part of Germany. The city is situated on the river Elbe. During World War II, due to Allied bombings, it was severely damaged and for that reason most of the buildings required reconstruction. The Neumarkt square in the city center was one of the places restored to its former glory. There are neat pastel houses, a statue of Martin Luther and the restored Frauenkirche (English: Church of Our Lady). Tourists may admire the square on foot or from a horse-drawn carriage. It is surrounded by shops, stalls and café gardens.
